Crazy like a fox. And big, very big

The Press pack covering the club's US tour have been introduced to Yaya Toure, and it seems it was a big moment. A very big moment.
"The thing that hits you is his size," reports impressed Mail writer Ian Ladyman in an inside back two-page spread that seems almost as big as the former Barcelona man himself.
Not at all, says Laydo: "He is huge. Much bigger than his brother. Tall and broad. Long legs. It's easy to see how he plays the way that he does." Think we've got the picture, Ian.
The club already does Stadium tours. Maybe we need to think next season about Toure tours ("Here he is ladies and gents, don't be shy, take a leisurely walk around him and marvel").
The Mail man adds that Yaya's "rangy, powerful style" interested former manager Mark Hughes back in January 2009: "presumably it is this that current boss Roberto Mancini likes too."
Kolo's "little" brother admits his Barca team-mates thought he was "crazy" when he decided to leave the Nou Camp and the European champions: "People couldn't really believe it."
But he is a fighter and loves a challenge: "City don't play Champions League and haven't won any cups for a long time. I left Barcelona because of this. City for me is perfect.
"They want to sign some big players and make the team very strong. I proved with Barcelona we could win everything. Now I can get something more."
He adds that "we have the basis for a team that can be very good". Well, you don't leave Barca for nothing, even if your brother rings to see if you're coming over to his for a game.
There's also a sidebar in the Mail headed "What ARE they going to do with all those midfielders?" and it lists 13, including new arrivals Yaya and David Silva. Roberto knows.
Meanwhile, in another part of Gotham, Harry Redknapp is fast becoming a Cockney Blue, this time refusing the chance to criticise City's transfer policy in the Sun and the Mail.
Having already tipped City for the title, Tottenham's boss watches Roberto's summer spree and shrugs philosophically: "They're bringing good players into the Premier League."
At this rate, he'll get Craig Bellamy on a free. And what price an opening-day chant from Blues at White Hart Lane: "Harry Redknapp is our friend, he loves City." Beats vuvus anyhow.
