City's impressive roster of goalkeepers for this season has been noted by a few rival clubs as well as the papers, and the Mail is keeping close tabs on the situation.

Roberto Mancini is naturally delighted to have Joe Hart back from his highly-successful season-long loan at Birmingham to duel for the No.1 jersey with Shay Given.

So, the Mail reports, "Fulham will be rebuffed in any attempt to sign Joe Hart from City.

"The England goalkeeper had been considered as a replacement for Arsenal-bound Mark Schwarzer but City have made it clear they will not consider a bid to sign Hart either on loan or in a permanent deal."

On that same front, The Mail also notes a story that appeared on the club website: "City have re-signed third-choice goalkeeper Stuart Taylor, 29, on a two-year deal."

There's been plenty of speculation regarding a possible move to Tottenham for Craig Bellamy, but Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is pouring cold water on the possibility.

'Arry tells the Star's James Piercy he's fine with what he's got: "I am quite happy with the squad. We have some good players and we've got cover everywhere."

He's apparently been more specific with the Telegraph, which reports him as denying he will try to sign Bellers, claiming that the transfer fee and wages would be "too high".

There's a long way to go until the transfer window slams shut ... watch this space.
