It's going to be all change at City this summer - if you believe what you read in a couple of today's papers.

Get those large pinches of salt at the ready, but according to the Mirror up to 14 of the current squad could be heading for the door marked 'exit'.

David McDonnell informs us that, "Mancini, who will kick off his summer recruitment drive with the £11million capture of Hamburg defender Jerome Boateng, will get ruthless with the squad he inherited from former boss Mark Hughes.

"City boss Mancini is also looking at possible moves for Benfica midfielder David Luiz and Napoli play-maker Marek Hamsik, as well as aiming to lure Fernando Torres from Liverpool.

"On the way out of City are strikers Benjani, Valeri Bojinov, Felipe Caicedo, Kelvin Etuhu and Jo, all of whom spent all or part of last season out on loan."

David throws more names into the ring than we have time & space for here, but over at the Mail there’s a snippet that refers to just Benjani when it comes to players moving off our books.

When it comes to names linked with moves to the Blues, it's a mix of the familiar and the new. The Mail says that Barcelona are tracking Fernando Torres but "Chelsea and Manchester City had already expressed their desire to buy the £70million-rated Spaniard". Later in the same article we are linked with Barca's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and in a busy day at the Mail Simon Jones has us down as surprise suitors for Pompey's Kevin-Prince Boateng in a bid to team him up with brother Jerome – a Hamburg player.
