A week in football eh? Tottenham's chances of landing the title, being talked up everywhere outside Manchester only days ago, disappeared with Mario Balotelli's penalty.
That's according to Daily Telegraph and BBC sofa sage Alan Hansen, who knows a thing or two about finishing top, even if that was a while ago now for the ex-Liverpool defender.
Jocky reckons City's 3-2 victory in the wake of Wolves' draw with Spurs has spiked Harry's game, as he explains to Telegraph readers in today's column.
He writes: "As harsh as it may sound, their hopes of winning the league this season have gone because of their failure to make more of what has been a defining week in their campaign.
"Every season has defining moments and Tottenham’s might just have been the one minute at the Etihad Stadium when they could have scored a winner, but ended up conceding a goal that left them with nothing.
"But this last week has really been crunch time for Spurs and, although their fightback at City after going two goals down was impressive, ultimately they failed to deliver when the pressure was on.
"As a result, Tottenham Hotspur are now eight points behind Manchester City, five adrift of Manchester United and, simply, out of the title race."
A week ago, City were in a mini-crisis, but they have responded by taking six points from six against Wigan and Spurs
"One thing that Tottenham and the rest have to accept is that City will only get better next season and so will United."
So, that's Manchester sorted. What will everyone else be getting up to, Alan?
Chris Coleman's unorthodox commentary style was the talk of Twitter during the game and the Telegraph's Jonathan Liew records the new Wales manager's struggle with names.
He chuckles: "David Silva became 'da Silva'. Gaël Clichy became 'Cliché'. City’s match-winning substitute was named anything from 'Boletelli' to 'Balocelli' to 'Botticelli' depending on Coleman’s mood."
Speaking of Mario - when are we not? - there is widespread consternation over the incident with Scott Parker, caught in the face by the striker's boot as he lay on the ground.
As FIFA.com has it: "Manchester City were today anxiously waiting to discover if Mario Balotelli landed himself in hot water during yesterday's 3-2 win over Tottenham.
"Balotelli could be hit with a four-match ban - he has already been sent off once this season at Liverpool - that will rule him out of the League Cup semi-final second leg at Anfield on Wednesday."
