Two City players continue to be linked with moves away from the Club this summer.

Press reports suggesting Aleks Kolarov and Edin Dzeko could be heading to Italy and Germany respectively, though there are plenty of others the media believe may also be on their way.

Starting with Kolarov, The Independent claims:  “Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov wants regular football and admits he has been speaking to his agent about his situation at the Etihad Stadium.

“The Serbia international is behind Gaël Clichy in the pecking order and made only 12 league appearances this season, and while he insists he is happy at City he wants greater involvement next season.

"I am in constant contact with my agent, so we will soon see what happens," he said.

The Daily Mirror believes the Blues are attempting to move on several of the players who spent time away on loan last season, but also Dzeko and maybe one or two others.

They report:  “Edin Dzeko is a £25million target for Bayern Munich as Manchester City look to clear the decks for Robin van Persie.

“Big-spending City have told manager Roberto Mancini he has to sell before he can buy Arsenal goal-machine Van Persie, as they are determined to get their house in order for the introduction of UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules.

Holland star Van Persie is Mancini's number one priority, but the deal is looking complicated because of City's sell-first stance.

The new Premier League champions are unlikely to sanction big pay-offs for any of their flock of unwanted strikers, who may struggle to match their current contracts elsewhere, because they are likely to fall foul of FFP guidelines.

“City are actively trying to sell strikers Dzeko, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz AND Emmanuel Adebayor.
Dzeko has grown frustrated because of a lack of regular starts and wants to play more games.

"Tevez will be allowed to go for the right price, while Harry Redknapp's shock exit from Tottenham muddies the waters on the possibility of Adebayor making last season's loan spell permanent.”
