Kickz – goals through football
Every week, over 400 young people take part in CITC’s award winning Kickz project, designed to improve the lives of young people in Manchester. It’s a national project which uses the power of football to:
- Engage young people in a range of constructive activities
- Break down barriers between the police and young people
- Reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the targeted neighbourhoods
- Increase the playing, coaching and officiating opportunities for young people
- Create routes into education, training and employment
- Encourage volunteering and increase young people’s interest in the professional game
If you're aged between 12 and 19 and have nothing to do at the weekends, come along and see what we do.
